On The Zombie Apocalypse

And I'll love who I want to love, 'cause this love is gender free - Perfect to me by Anne-Marie

"What's your view on gay Love?" He asked me.

"Well, that came out of nowhere, GAY love? Why do we put labels on love? Love is love, how come there isn't such a thing as straight love? It's just vastly known as Love. Are we trying to pretend that gay love isn't loving? Or is it just an alien thing, never heard of in this world.

People are mmmh...what's the word...ahaa! ZOMBIES. Note, I said people, not you lovely someone reading this. When different someones are all alone, they are goddamn great, they're fucking real to themselves. But when we step out into the universe and join our fellow social beings, we become a bunch of zombies. Our opinions don't matter anymore. All we do is just go with the flow, who gives a fuck on what you think, the zombies know best, right? That a girl should just chill and wait for a rich husband, that a man should love a woman and only a woman. Some might argue that the 'stick' was biologically shaped to fit into the 'red velvet'. But what if there's more to it than boning. What if there's more to it than physique?. What if there's more to Love than what people say. What of realness, does it still exist or did we just throw that bull crap away.

I'm just from watching a show on TV where a slay queen said that her perfect match is a tall, dark and handsome dude. That's the anthem these days, most girls biggest achievement is to find this enchanting TDH guy...funny I almost forgot the six-pack bit of it.

But do we stop to think of what happens afterwards? After you've gotten your TDH guy and have been showered with praises from the zombies on how lucky you are. Do you marry him? Okay fine, you get married to this guy whose features you adore as hell but who you barely care about. Who all you care about is his hot body, only so you can drive all your friends jealous with, so you there waking him up at five a.m. to rush to the gym. But what happens behind your closed doors, you and your TDH don't view each other as couples, rather, two strangers infected by the zombie virus with nothing left to live for. Your marriage, your whole life to be precise is built on the zombies' opinions rather than your own. What happens then?

Sometimes, I wish that we were all born blind, that we would interact but not know how the other someone looked like, but not know who fitted the TDH description and who, well...barely made it halfway. Without knowing who's female or who's male, who's black or who's white. PS, I'm not saying that eyes are the source of it all, just that the physique is overrated. There's more than meets the eye, literally. If we were all born blind, then maybe a certain someone would fall in love with another based on his/her personality. Overlooking all other factors such as gender, race, and looks. But coming to think of it now, maybe blindness wouldn't work either. Maybe we've all been infected with the zombie virus, that fellow human beings' opinions define us. That we can't stand tall and fight for our happiness which I believe is the essence of Love. That this, is the zombie apocalypse era in a way, and our only hope is reincarnation [though zombies are already undead], that in reincarnation, Love will be defined as just LOVE, who knows?" I answered.
