Is He To Live, Love or Lie?

The Woes of Dr. Ramsi

At the bus stop he stood, a guy full of thoughts, Dr. Ramsi, as we all had nicknamed him at school. Finally, it was the end of his first semester and only jingle bells for him to tweet on his way home to usher in the long-awaited Christmas holidays. A young, dumb, and broke high school kid had he been but imagining the drama he had caused that semester, I could just take a glance on him twice.

Having bumped into crazy roommates at the beginning of the semester was a great challenge for him to cope with the new trends in campus. Nothing much could he gain from them but long hours of exile from his own room as they ushered in one beauty after another into the room. From the beckoning words he received from his friends for not having a girl of his own to the shivering cold nights he could spend was just a pity to this friend of mine. For him, three choices were left.....to just live, make love or lie that all girls are bad.

An awkward way he used though, for he could scroll down the various study groups on his phone, just to get this one lucky girl whose beautiful face could appease his hopeless eyes. Suzzie was the first girl for him to chat with, this time round convincing her to come to his room. A happy guy he was, you know, for even his roommates congratulated him for being a gentleman. That's sarcastic though, isn't it? All along her way, she could chant the poem;

The way you stole my heart,

You could have been a crook,

And baby you're so smart,

For you could have been a school book."

That was not to last though, for one week later it was so sorry for Suzzie to leave him with a stupid excuse such as being focused in life.

Not long before he got another girl who impressed him on first look. Indeed she was voluptuous and one who left ravenous men bathing their lips with saliva. A crush she was, for Dr. Ramsi could just see her and lose some connections in the brain. He could jump up and down making fantasies with his newly found crush. He could give us stories of how he could one day floss with this beauty queen called Sasha around the pubs while making fancy jigs and walks for the world to see. However, these wishes were just horses which every beggar would ride on...they were just dreams which never really came true. He watched the girl of his choice being scooped away by the gluttonous fourth-year students on campus.

Dr. Ramsi had everything bounce onto his face. He approached girls but everything just flopped blank on his face. Was he borne to have misfortunes in life or was his blood group really not rhyming with romance? Should he just focus on studies and leave the rest of romance to Tom, Dick and Harry around him? That is Dr.Ramsi at the bus stop still deep in his thoughts.... Yeah, yet to treat himself of his own burning questions, his own ugly scars and more so his own swollen wounds.

Will he just live, love or lie?
